Gaps in between foundation and soil

Check moisture level; often times foundation issues come from to much moisture or to little

Check drainage; make sure that your gutters are draining at least 5-10 feet away

Check plants and trees to make sure no roots are growing into the foundation

Check the plumbing. Leaks can cause massive problems in foundations and need to be looked at ASAP

Water during the dry season! This will help with nearly all problems

Inspect home for damage or cracks

Insure the house is sitting on the proper slope

Install root barrier if trees become to much

Check for stuck or hard to open doors around the house
