Quick Daily Preschool Safety Check Checklist

Preschool classroom is always smoke free

All entrances/exits are kept clear of clutter

Staff purses and personal items are locked and/or out of reach of children

Staff food is put away and out of reach of children

Hands are washed by staff and children upon arrival to classroom

Each child has a brief health check by classroom teacher which include any parent/caregiver information

All children are signed in to the classroom by parent/caregiver

Bleach solution is made daily and is label and is out of reach of children

All hygiene materials are available to both teachers ad children

All chemical are locked and out of reach from children

All electrical outlets are covered

Furniture, equipment, and toys are in good repair

Window cords are adjusted to prevent strangulation

first aid kit is available and fully stocked
