  • The High Line Hotel (where were stayed, amazing boutique hotel in the Meatpacking District)

  • Intelligencia Coffee (a Chicago favorite, located inside The High Line Hotel)

  • Shopping and exploring SoHo (my favorite NYC neighborhood)

  • Chelsea Market (a few blocks from The High Line Hotel)

  • Balthazar (one of my favorite NYC restaurants) in SoHo for lunch, brunch, or dinner

  • Winter Village at Bryant Park (great popup shops, ice skating, and a restaurant)

  • Holiday lights on 5th Avenue (breathtaking and will make you feel like a kid!)

  • See the Christmas tree, where The Today Show is filmed, and ice skating at Rockefeller Center

  • The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade (a must if you are in NYC for Thanksgiving!)

  • Westway Diner (you have to dine at a typical NYC diner)

  • The Empire State Building (so much fun, amazing views, and a must in NYC!)

  • The Nomad Bar (at The Nomad Hotel, currently one of the best bars in America)

  • The Smith (Nomad) (great NYC restaurant, had Thanksgiving dinner here)

  • Blue Bottle Coffee (a NYC favorite!)

  • 9/11 Memorial (beautiful and heartbreaking)

  • Chinatown (shop in Chinatown and eat at the Golden Unicorn)

  • Little Italy (shop and head to Caffè Roma for hot chocolate and great desserts)

  • Time Square (explore and eat some greasy pizza!)
