How to Play the White Elephant Game

Gift Buying Instructions:

Decide if the guys and girls will play together (keep in mind the gifts guys may buy)

Decide if you will buy gifts (set a dollar amount) or re-gift something

Tell everyone to wrap their gift and keep what they bought a secret

Tear up a piece of paper for every person you have playing

Number each piece of paper and fold it to hide the number

Let each player pick a piece of paper

Who ever choose #1 goes first and can pick and gift they want

You must unwrap the gift, show everyone what you got

Then it\'s #2\'s turn. #2 can pick their own gift or steal someone else\'s gift

Repeat until the last person picks

After the last person picks their gift, the last steal is done by #1 (why, because they never got a chance to steal in the beginning)

You can only steal the same gift, once during one round

Change up the rules however you see fit. Crazier the merrier!
