• 1. Set up your computer so your child can easily see the computer screen and can remain hands free to draw or participate in an action oriented activity.

• 2. Try to have your child facing a window or other source of light so that the teacher can better see and talk to your child.

• 3. Choose a room where your child will be able to hear and turn off any background noise or other competing sounds.

• 4. Plan to stay with your child so that you can encourage your child to participate in the lesson.

• 5. Listen in to what the teacher is reading or sharing so that you can talk about it with your child after the lesson is over.

• 6. Use any content your child\'s teacher provides as a springboard for extending the learning at home.

• 7. Keep the rest of your day focused on real life learning through play and exploration.
