Inspect drone for damage

Inspect propellors for damage, ensure they are tightened and locked

Drone battery fully charged and correctly installed in drone

Transmitter battery fully charged

Smartphone fully charged (when applicable)

Firmware up to date (when applicable)

SD card empty and secure in drone (photography)

Weather okay (no storms, rain, excessive wind, etc.)

Camera lens cap and gimbal guard removed (when camera used)
-
Airmap or B4UFLY app installed on phone, airspace checked, authorizations received
-
Transmitter and drone turned on and communicating (check user manual for your drone)
-
Area scanned for people and obstacles
