What to do before listing your home

• Address any issues that may come up during an inspection now

• Find warranties and documents showing maintenance of appliances and HVAC system

• Consider having a home staging consultation

• Clean, organize, declutter, paint, and have your home showing in its best light

• Spruce up the curb appeal outside of your home

• If living in a condo, gather all condo docs, recent meeting minutes, by-laws, budget, and all other information regarding the condo association

• Meet with a real estate agent to talk marketing strategy, pricing, and how to sell the home for top dollar in a short amount of time

• Fill out a listing agreement with your real estate agent, complete all disclosures required, and have any and all information regarding the property available

• Have professional pictures taken and floor plan drawn up

• Keep your house clean and always show ready for those buyers who are ready to make an offer!
